One-to-One sessions

Do you want to start experiencing the benefits of Focusing immediately?

A one-to-one guided session is the best way to experience the Focusing process for yourself and begin to receive its benefits.

Some of the benefits to you:

  • sense of relief and clarity about your life and your forward steps
  • a greater ability to be compassionate to yourself
  • a shift in perspective about what’s bothering you
  • new possibilities, new options, and fresh energy to move forward

You can expect:

  • to receive respectful, confident, unobtrusive guiding through the proces
  • to feel deeply understood and to understand yourself more deeply
  • to experience some movement or fresh perspective on your issue or problem, even in one session
  • to get some ideas for how to continue the process on your own and/or in further sessions
  • What happens after the session: There is a high likelihood that you will feel some kind of difference in the issue you worked on, after just one session, and many people experience a significant shift.
  • Some people find they feel better without knowing why – at least at first. “I don’t know why I feel so light and relaxed, the problem is the same.” Wait a few hours... let the process unfold... and then check again if the problem or issue feels different. It usually does!
  • Sometimes people want more sessions, others may want to practice further on their own, others may want to move into a Level One workshop at this point. There will be time at the end of your session to discuss your next steps if you like, or we would be happy to discuss this with you at another time.
  • Although many people want only one or two sessions, there is also a possibility of working with someone over a number of sessions. This is completely your choice, depending on your inner sense of finding the work helpful.
  • After a session is booked, we ask for a 48-hour notice for changing or canceling the appointment, or we will need to charge for the time as if the session were held.
